Welcome to Kid’s Place Connection on the Web!
I’m Fred Fogel and I have been a part of Kid’s Place for a long time. I will be your information guide for this Kid’s Place site.
What is Kid’s Place? Kids from around the world gather each summer at the North American Convention (a meeting for the Church of God that our parents attend) and go to an event called Kid’s Place. The little kids (ages 3-5) go to Park Place Church for Little Kid’s Place. We have a lot of fun AND we learn about missions.
Missions means that people from one place go to another place and tell those people about Jesus. It can be from one state to another or from one country to another. When we study about a certain country, the missionaries who live there often tell us stories about the work they do and the people they meet. It is really interesting and helps us know how we can serve God and help others! Can you imagine living in Australia or China? Click here (

This summer, KID'S PLACE/Little Kid's Place will take place on June 28th, 29th, and 30th. Kid's Place 2010 theme is AFRICA ADVENTURE! Come travel with us to the savannahs, the big cities, and the villages on this continent on the other side of the world. What is life like there? Does it snow there? What does a house in Africa look like? What do kids like to do there? How do you say hello in Swahili? We'll find out together all about this fascinating continent at KID'S PLACE 2010! Hope to see you there. Remind mom and dad to pre-register through the NAC mailing they will receive. And you can order a really cool Kid's Place shirt!
What do we do at Kid’s Place and Little Kid’s Place? We meet with our family groups in the morning and then join together to worship God. We sing and do motions and raise our hands. That’s pretty fun, too. Then we go to different rooms and learn about missionaries from different countries. One cool place that we visit is the Market Place. There they have activities where we can learn about games or dances or activities that the kids do in the country we just studied. Sometimes you can buy things there, too. If you went to Kid’s Place last summer, maybe you could tell your parents what you did. We stay at Kid’s Place until noon and then go back to our campsite or the motel with our parents. Sometimes we stay in rooms at Anderson University or with friends in Anderson.
I want you to see the DVD of Kid’s Place 2007. Just double-click on the Play button below to watch pictures of what we did that summer. It was called “Around the World 2007” and we studied about several countries around the world.
Watch this page for information about future plans for Kid’s Place. Ask mom and dad to save this in their Favorites so you can come back and visit us again.
Goodbye for now—visit us again soon,
